Office Furniture Installer Harahan, LA 70123 Full time 7:00 am - 4:00 pm LAOP is a leading provider of office design, office furniture, education furniture and space planning company. Job Responsibilities Work closely with project managers and clients to understand installation requirements. Safely and efficiently assemble, install, and arrange various types of office furniture, including desks, chairs, cubicles, shelving units, and more. Ensure furniture is installed accurately and in accordance with design plans and manufacturer guidelines. Handle tools and equipment with care to avoid damage to furniture or property. Collaborate with a team to complete installations within specified timeframes. Maintain a neat and organized work area, both on-site and in the warehouse. Uphold safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Qualifications Prior experience in office furniture installation preferred, but not mandatory. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in furniture assembly. Ability to read and interpret furniture assembly instructions and floor plans. Strong problem-solving skills to overcome on-site challenges effectively. Physical stamina to lift, move, and assemble furniture pieces as needed. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
